Den 11 november 2024 annonserade Thule Group förvärvet av Quad Lock, den globala marknadsledaren inom robusta mobilfästen för äventyrare (”performance phone mounts”), som ger cyklister, motorcyklister och andra tillgång till sina mobiltelefoner medan de är aktiva. Förvärvet var villkorat av myndighetsgodkännande från Australian Foreign Investment Review Board, vilket har erhållits. On November 11, 2024, Thule Group announced the acquisition of Quad Lock, the global market leader in performance phone mount solutions, giving cyclists, motorcyclists, and other adventurers access to their mobile phones while being active. The acquisition was subject to regulatory approval from the Australian Foreign Investment Review Board, which now has been obtained. The acquisition has today been completed and Quad Lock is part of Thule Group as of December 4, 2024.

Thule Group has signed an agreement to acquire Quad Lock, the global market leader in performance phone mount solutions, giving cyclists, motorcyclists and other adventurers access to their mobile phones while being active. Quad Lock has a turnover of SEK 1.4 billion with a 25 percent EBITDA margin, and fits well with Thule’s brand and strategy of developing market-leading positions in attractive niches. The purchase price amounts to AUD 500 million, or approximately SEK 3.6 billion, which corresponds to a multiple of 10x EBITDA.

Quad Lock omsätter 1,4 miljarder SEK med 25 procent EBITDA-marginal, och passar väl in med Thules varumärke och strategi att utveckla marknadsledande positioner i attraktiva nischer. Prior to Vero, I worked in audit at EY, primarily with listed companies. I joined Vero in January 2026 and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with focus on International Business and Marketing, from Uppsala University.
